I cannot APPLY filters and view ANY PIDS even obviously selected PIDS such as RPM's on ANY of my logs, including old ones without getting this message:15385
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the V.7.5 and V8...firmware is up to date...I don't understand the problem. Can anyone help?:master:

Attempted to reinstall firmware and now V2 is blinking yellow/orange lights and now all I get is the $0025 message no matter what I do. Yet when I open up EFILIVE FLASHSCAN V2 PROGRAMMER it says the V2 is NOT in "dead pool" mode. HELP

The "EFILive FlashScan V2 Programmer" which is part of the V7.5 software is only for use with device that have old boot block versions (V2.04.xx and earlier).
More than likely your boot block version is V2.07.xx, so you'll need to use the V8 EFILive Control Panel to update your firmware.
CAn you post a scren shot of the Filters that you are trying to use?

No wonder. The V2 is stuck in the blank screen alternating orange light mode...it won't boot up at all. Is there a sequence of buttons I can press to force a reboot on it?

Jesse, that is dead-poll and it actually is "booted". Open V8 Scan & Tune (download the latest June 6 update (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?22736-Update-June-06-2013)), click Check Firmware, then the EFILive Control Panel will appear. Click Update BootBlock (2.07.05 is the latest), then click Update Firmware (2.07.45 is latest). That will get you back up and running.
I believe that error is because part of your filter is set to use a condition that isnt defined, try redoing your filter before applying it to a log.

The fact that I can filter old logs makes me think something is lost in one of the program folders or something.

Delete the empty filter item and make sure the "OR" at the end of the first line goes away.
The filter evaluator is trying to evaluate the next line after the "OR" and is finding nothing which is causing the error that PID "." is not selected.
