OK. New to getting it done but gonna try a little at a time.

First of many questions to come.

When setting LTFT's which do I use for reference? Average, minimum or maximum values?

Is it best to set up in SD to get the correct trims/VE table?

Any help would be greatful.

Thanks
Shawn

You will want to work with average data. Might i suggest you invest in a WB. WB's make tuning much faster and are way more accurate than NB's.

Yeah average both banks and remember its a % not an absolute.
+ Definately go with WB, you will need it for WOT and any lean idle/low load stuff you end up doing.

Wideband will be here soon. Getting one before doing heads and cam sitting here. Just want to play around with the tune in it for now and see if I can get it running a little better. I did make backups.

So I use the average button and make changes with the percentage button?
In another words, if two cells average -10.9, what pecentage would I put in the box?

....and should I put it in SD mode or make VE changes from maps made with the MAF hooked up?

Best to use maps.
You can make a calc pid to add and average the ltft's and convert to a factor like 0.9 for -10%, 1.1 for +10% etc. You then copy and multiply and it sorts it out.
Also you might want to turn off your ltft after the first swipe and just calculate from stft.
Also dont forget to turn off dfco, lean cruise, pe etc. Or at least filter out these cells or you will make merry chaos with your ve table.

Any links to info on creating calc pid's and turning off the items listed?
