Here are some videos I made today to hopefully help you guys go from A-Z in moving, flashing, switching and looging with CSP-5/EDA.

I'm getting emails everyday from those who dont want to read...so visual guidance seemed necessary.

I'm not much of a 'read the manual' guy myself so I won't rant, but I know what you mean. :doh2:

hey Les,

I figured out my tune naming issue with the names changing, if I go in and select the CMB PID list in the V2 then it comes up with the correct programmed names. However I noticed in your second to last video that you were changing units on the v2 by pressing enter while displaying data. Mine will not do this. I have tried everything I can think of. it will however change to 4 pids displayed (control+enter) and the white background (control+down arrow). Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Trent

You have to change the units in the bbl section in v8...then reprogram the v2

Ok got the units changing had to go into each pid and in properties activate custom units the select the imperial unit I wanted to see, but now all units converted from kpa to psi read zero when displaying psi. They work as before when I hit enter and they are displayed in kpa. Sorry to be a nuisance but this is my first adventure into BBX. I do feel like I've come a long way in the last twelve days as I have been able to read, flash, log, and switch tunes with the v2 its just the units thing kicking my butt!

After you changed the units, did you save and reprogram the v2?

I believe so I've done it so many times I can't be sure but if I hadn't the units wouldn't be changing when I hit enter I'm thinking??

Okay after looking at a few more parameters all of the PID's that I activated custom units for are not working properly ECT shows 32°F for example and rail pressure is showing three PSI driving down the road at operating temp ill check and see what I screwed up

I had went v8 and under edit>properties>general and under the conversions tab I had checked the invert box for the pids I was trying to get to display imperial on the v2 so it checked the box automatically under properties in each pid I activated custom units for
