There is full support only for the applications on the list, I get that. But out of curiosity I read and saved the TCM cal from a tow truck we are trying to fix at work. It is an '06 GMC flatbed, with a VIN "2" engine and a 5 speed Allison. The TCM box says A46, but it looks like an A40 and the actual module says model A40. The E35A was detected automatically but I had to manually select the A40 (the AL5 also showed a green check for communication BTW). I pulled and saved the cal. just fine, it has a bunch of question marks for the VIN but I think that's normal, (VCI cal. from GM is what goes in these trucks). The problem is I need to block a "phantom" U1000 code that is causing limp mode, but Trans. Diag. settings are not available. Only performance parameters are adjustable. Is there anything else I can try to be able to block DTCs reported by the TCM? Here is the file: (will post in a few minutes)
