D2801 is a parameter I have been looking at that says lockup during upshift Yes or No optional inputs.

The way I see it if Yes is in there it will stay locked during a shift? If so I wonder why the vehicles I am working on do not do this...I have my truck set to lockup in 3rd at 26mph, shifts into 4th at 45mph or so, but before the shift it unlocks, then shifts, then re-lockes...I enables LOCKUP during my 3-4 shift in the DVT tables and it makes a sstb3600 stall in a full size truck A LOT more streetable...

hat am I missing?

Trucks generally came with this parameter disabled (mostly for shift feel), while cars came with it enabled.

I've tried it both ways, No difference. I t6hought if I enable it to Yes, then the converter would STAY locked during the 3-4 upshift if the lockup MPH was in range(it is). but either YES or NO in that parameter unlocks the converter before the upshift.
