I'm sure tits an easy fix, but I am not good with PC's. In your browser options, look at Add Ons... if you can identify the upgrade/extension causing this problem, disable/uninstall it.

If I uninstall an upgrade, will the previously installed unit take over again? It was a windows update, I really diont know what I am doing. COuld Microsoft Silverlight cause this? There are a couple things I see that were installed, but I dont know the exact date it happened. Oh I am goijng to go through my post history here and see when my osts strarted going weird. Thanks.

A tip for IE users. ( BTW it wasn't a Widows 10 update, it was an Internet Explore 10 or IE 10 ).
When browsing web pages, you sometimes get an icon in the address bar tat looks like a page of paper with a tear through it...
15617
This indicates "Compatibility Mode" for later versions of IE and can sometimes fix issues where IE breaks a web page. If you click on it, it should change colour to indicate if the mode is set or not.

Yes, Simon, it was IE1 10, not Windows 10. For basic web browsing is there any advantage to IE 10 over IE9?

Supposedly Microsoft fixes security issues with each update. That is basically the only advantage as most Microsoft updates fix problems I didn't know I had while breaking things that weren't broken before.
I think ie10 adds support for the new HTML standard too?

Personally I don't use IE at all, so can't really comment.
I use Opera Internet Browser and have done so for years.

But there are known compatibility issues with IE10 and quite a few web sites.
