I was looking for some help finding PID's related to my VVT Cam Phaser. I have a 2011 GM Sierra with VVT. I want to put a new cam in , but first i want to see how much retard the PCM is rolling into the stock cam. It is using the E38 controller. I've brought the PID list up before doing a data log and i don''t see anything related to intake cam phasing or any cam phasing. I know it can be logged, i just don't know why i'm not seeing any related PID. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated .

The sierra didn't get VVT until 2014... ??Even though the ECM is capable of that feature, it's just not physically gonna happen on that engine

Oh my 2011 GMC Sierra most differently has VVT. It has the L9H engine, check it out. Why isn't there any PID for the cam phaser?

On the PIDs tab, try un-checking Supported.
