Tried to hold a 2011 silverado with T43 in 4th gear on the dyno and it wouldnt work. After several phone calls found out I wasnt the only one who ran into the same problem.

Were you trying to log the ECM while doing this? Ive not been able to use DVTs on my T42 if Im scanning/logging the E67. Makes holding gears on the dyno a PITA.

Does it release into 5th or does it kick down or both?
Does it hold for any period of time and then release? Or does it release as soon as you change throttle position?
Can you stop logging and save a V7 "File->generate error report" as soon as it releases and send the report to me at paul@efilive.com

Regards
Paul

It does both. It seems to release soon as throttle moves. I will save the log and send it as soon as I get a chance.

I tried another 2011 with the same results, it didnt respond to holding any gear with dvt. I completely forgot about doing the error report though. It would downshift into 3rd and shift into 4th while I had hold 4th selected. I tried using another software and it wouldnt hold 4th either. Im making a note to save the error report the next time.
