Not showing file analysis - B9999 OK to flash?

When I open a tune file in V7.5, on the bottom of the details section it is not showing B9999 Tune File Analysis, so I don't know if the file is OK to flash. I have opened known good stock files and modified files, but nothing shows down there. Is there something I'm missing? I'm running the latest version of 7.5.

I have some trucks that are like that. I haven't had any issues with flashing them. If I remember right when I changed os from tunefiledepot thats what it does.

It should show for every OS, what numbers have you seen it missing on?

Every one I've tried. Primarily 11450202 and 11352409, but I also tried other random ones (e.g. 11501001 and 11551031) just to see if I could get it to come up. I also thought it might be the computer/installation, so I loaded EFI Live on another computer and had the same issue.

Im using 409 and I believe B9999 comes up but thats it. It doesn't say anything about ok to flash.

I don't think I'm running the V7.5 version that has the option to upgrade to csp- I thought that was still in beta. I'm running 7.5.7 build 235.

It has happened pre csp and post for me. I have only found it to happen after changing OS on a truck that previously had a smarty or doing an OS change. I haven't had any issues with it. I guess I just really haven't paid any attention to it.

CSP5 is still in public beta, there is one more update coming before it goes to public, there was some people report the pilot timing PID's in the EDA data was not correctly showing values for some OS's, that is fixed and will require a full update.

I just upgraded to the CSP5 beta and I still do not show the B9999. Any ideas?

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. The tune is just a stock tune with the original OS. I upgraded the V7.5 to the beta version to see if that would show the B9999, which it didn't.

Plug in your v2, then open 7.5 then open tune. See if that brings it up.

What computer OS are you running? XP, 2000 etc...

Windows 7 on all machines. I've got it loaded on a laptop (32 bit) and desktop (64 bit).

What's your email...I'll send you my stock auto file which has it showing.

If it doesn't show then it's on your emd

B9999 will not show up on CSP5 tunes.
I opened up a variety of factory stock OS's and it showed up fine, it's not set to only show up under specific circumstances, it should always be there.

I don't have any csp5 tunes so we can rule that out. I just can't get b9999 to show up for anything.

So why not just carry on with tuning...if you know you have a good file, why beat yourself up over it?

Cindy- The stock file I have came from Les!

Les- I'm just starting to learn about tuning and I wanted to make sure an adjustments I do will still show an ok to flash. And if I ever pick up any other tunes I'd like to make sure they were ok too.

Adjustments you make won't change the "Ok to flash".

That only changes when the file is initially corrupted.

So as long as you use files told to be clean or from those you trust...I'd continue on with tuning and start enjoying your labors.

Ah ok... I didn't know that. I thought you had to make sure you always had the "ok to flash" and it wasn't just dependent on the initial file. Thanks!

I did figure out why I wasn't showing B9999 and got it fixed though. I just had to get it figured out- something in my nature...

What was causing it?

For some reason my cal_summary file was missing. Without it, EFI doesn't load B9999 upon opening and I didn't find a way to bring it up after the fact.
