What do I have to be aware of if I want to upgrade a buddy 2001 ECM to and 2002 os?

If you can wait just a bit longer we will be releasing our latest update which offers some improvements to the full flash process. We found a few ECM's had problems resetting the oil life value after upgrading, the new version will fix that.

I've got the beta installed Ross and I see a PID for oil life, but nothing for resetting - is that still to come in final?

It is in the Scantool, it's a button that looks like an oil drip or under the bi-directional menu.

I must be cursed, I have an '02-'04 pcm with an '02 O.S. in it & I have tried everything I can think of to correct the non-resettable oil life monitor, including reflashing to stock '02, '03, calibrations with SPS & a Tech 2...still unable to reset oil life, I'm starting to think it might be a hardware problem, curious about your thoughts Ross.;)
Thanks, Todd.:)

I noticed the 01 os I am updating has values in both fuel level sensor tables, F0101 and F0102. The 01 OS has values up to 28.4 on the primary, while the secondary only goes to 24.2. The 02 os goes to 26.4 on the primary with no values in the secondary. I'm keeping the 02 os the way it is to try it. Anyone seen this? How does it work for you?

That is strange not even a SPS flash corrects it, I might need to come up with a special oil life locked recovery bootloader....Mmmm.
Cheers,
Ross
