What was going on, and what was the solution...?

I couldn't flash, I couldn't scan all of a sudden. It kept saying that I needed to down load the updated V8 and check my firmware. But it wouldn't pull up the control panel. So after the down loads still nothing would connect to the car. I have to use the V8 to flash while still using 7.5 to make adjustments. No biggie. But then I couldn't scan and the V8 version isn't up yet after I made new charts. I went back and down load everything again and now the 7.5 scanner works. I don't know what the deal was or why it changed but it is fixed for now.
