I've been trying to reduce idle RPM on my 2005 GTO running the COS. I lowered B1821 with no effect. B1821 airflow values are below what I see in my logs. Logging desired idle RPM continues to show 800 RPM and that is where she stays. Is there another controlling parameter that I'm missing or is this a hard coded limit like the O2 switching.

Still puzzling me... I have set B1821 desired RPM as low as 650 RPM and when I log desired RPM it still show 800.

No longer a puzzle after perusing the other tuners. EFI-L does not support the Min Idle RPM vs KPH (VSS) table. Manual E40 cars are set to 800 by GM. The Autos go down to 550.

Ah that's annoying, always wondered why my settings made no difference.

It's frustrating as you can directly control the RPM and it'll sit lower quite happily.

Presumably there's little chance of getting this supported by EFI-Live as the E40 is so unloved?

There is no business case for further development on the E40. I was hoping somebody would offer up a CAX file, but that never happened. Maybe we could bribe a developer? How much can you chip in?

Not sure if serious...

I'd chuck a few hundred dollars at it, hardly going to cover it :(
