Do you think that "fuel pooling" as mentioned here http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=317729&highlight=injector+swap could have something to do with this:
Using AutoVE tuning I get ever-growing spikes in my VE table in the 1600-2000 RPM range. i.e. where boost kicks in (0 to 5psi) and increases load(before any downshift occurs) with little effect on vehicle speed or RPM. No matter how much the VE values are increased in this area it always logs as lean. What do you think about the "fuel pooling" theory? Could too much fuel in the cylinders cause a lean condition? Of course I am in this part of the VE table every time I want to accelerate gradually. A gear kickdown gets me past it. Don't want to look like the speed freak that I am whenever I am just cruising in traffic. This would also be a serious problem when towing.
