Can EFI Live be used with a Mac book? I really like using them and their dependability and if I can this will be the next computer I purchase.

Only if you run Bootcamp/Parallels. EFILive MUST be run on Windows, but you can virtualize it if you'd like. Sometimes there can be issues with the way the USB driver is virtualized, however if you use BBX to read/flash/log it isnt an issue.

So will there ever be a software release in the future that will support EFI on IOS?

What do you expect to be able to do with iOS? Build tunes on your phone????? Edit huge maps, hundreds of numbers and tables on a tiny 4" screen with a fat finger?

Im 100% sure EFILive has zero intention of ever doing anything with iOS.

Sorry didn't mean IOS meant Macintosh. Although data logging with an iPad would be pretty sweet but we already have tablets available.

According to Wiki, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_operating_systems) Windows (all versions) still has 86% market share on desktops/laptops, with OSX only at 7%. I don't know how they come to these figures but it would make no sense to write an OSX specific version when so many with Mac's run Windows emulators anyway.

I have nothing but Mac now and use parallels with XP. Zero issues.
