I want to Put a turbo on a cobalt, and the only thing stopping me is if I can tune it or not. I know it's supported, I just don't know if it's possible to be tuned for 2-3 bar?

Thanks guys,
Branden

For a quick and short answer, I don't see why not.

Lol. I don't see why not either, but this is the last piece of the puzzle for me. Will it be just like tuning an LS1 for boost?

Thanks,
Branden

Not really, E37s are basically cheaper E38/E67s. VVE coeffs, no real VE table. They're definitely a Gen IV ECM and need to be tuned as such. BUT, since they're Gen IV, you can go 2.5Bar on the stock OS without an issue.

Thanks again guys,

It won't be for a while, but I'm sure I'll be back for more help.

Thanks,

Update:

I wanted to do this project because I drive an hour to work each day and I wanted good MPGs and power. Well I'm getting transferred back closer to home, so I'm selling the car and won't be putting any boost to it.

Thank you guys for the help though!

No problem! Perhaps in the future you can pick up an SS or Buick, they are already boosted.
