I installed a PLX300,I put the O2 sensor in the X pipe right in the X part,Is that to far back?. Could I have cut a wire maybe? I get a reading of 14.6,But it just flickers from 14.67 to 14.68 or 14.69 no matter how much gas I give it.

Don't start your car, just turn the key to run position, after several minutes you should see a lean condition or air. If you want to speed the process hook a vacuum cleaner to your tailpipe.

The X pipe may be too far back to get a timely reading, but it should be accurate.

The 14.xx is as it should be except for cold starts and WOT.
