what do I need to tune this truck?

It's been a while since I used efilive on any vehicle besides my own...I'm used to software v7.5.6

I have a new customer that wants to disable his AFM and rear O2's on a 2008 5.3 4x4
It looks to me like I need to upgrade to v8 software. I downloaded it but wow is it ever different looking! Anyway, will I be able to tune his truck with the hardware I have?

Also, I will need to buy another license. In the past I just phoned in with my credit card info. What's involved with paypal?

Hi Ritch,

With V1, all you need is the V7 software.


edit: sorry, I did not see "2008" in your post... you need V2 as Taz said below.

Truck is a 2008 ... believe you will need a V2.

PayPal: you register a credit/bank account with PayPal; when you make a purchase PayPal takes the money from that account (and vice-versa).

Taz has a good point, you need V2 in this case

( V1 only does VPW and does not do CAN )
