I guess i'm just not doing something right, what program is to be used when reading codes? I was under the impression V7.5 was still for scanning codes. When I tried to connect to the truck though it said something about needing to update the firmware using V8.

"The flashscan/auto cal interface is not compatible with this version of EFI live software. Please install the latest version 8 of EFI Live. Then use the ELI live control panel program to update the firmware"

I have updated the firmware, Boot block is V 2.07.06 from Aug 2 2013 and the firmware is V 2.07.52 from Nov 5th 2013.

Help is appreciated!!

Which V7 software build version are you using...?

Which year/model/vehicle...?

I had the same problem last night when connecting to my truck. I believe that all I did was selected update software for the v2, unplugged everything from the vehicle, selected the use ALT box, plugged everything back in and it eventually connected.

V7.5.7 build 208

Vehicles i've tried on are a 2005 LLY and a 2006 LBZ

Notice there is a build 245, i'd thought the v7.5 updated when i did the v8 but guessing not. Going to try again...

Well for some reason after thinking it updated i checked but the build number stayed the same. Redownloaded the complete v7.5 program and tested on my LBZ. At first it kept saying no cable connected so unplugged and restarted the program and plugged back in. Working now!!
