I'm irritated with HPT again. What features/tables (if any) does EFI offer for the segmented '98 F-body OS's that I cannot get from HPT? Perhaps an IAT scalar table of some sort?

You can download EFILive and try it out - it will run in Demo mode - which allows you to open and view calibrations, but will not let you save changes.

You could then do a side by side comparison of the 1998 LS1-A PCM parameters for yourself - to see if what you need is available.

I already downloaded v8.2.2.237. I have OS ID 9375576, how do I obtain this OS calibration in EFILive format so I can review the parameters? I don't think EFI will open .HPT files, and while I have the old version of HPT which saves as .bin, I don't recall if that version of HPT will use the USB interface.

You need the V7.5 software to view the calibrations. EFILive format tunes are available to all for download at www.tunefiledepot.com

Hmm, that OS isn't listed at the file depot, checked '98-'99 entries and I don't see what they say they added to the 512kb LS1 non-segmented platforms.

The LS1-A tunes are a little different. The 1998 Camaro tunes on the Tune File Depot website will probably be listed as OS19980100. If you open one of these, in the calibration window you will then see the specific calibration number. Your exact calibration (9375576) may not be on file, but the available parameters should be the same.

It's all by itself(and 97 corvette). When I get a chance I'll see what I got on my laptop from my stock 98 tune. I think the number you posted was the calibration though.
