I have a friend that has a lmm, I tuned it last weekend.
He installed a race valve last night and now when it is cold out ( around 12 degrees). First start with elevated idle. It knocks on 2 of the 5 tunes. After it warms up it is fine.

What should I adjust.

Thanks. Any help.

Probaly timing, post tune so we can help.

Go in and cut your timing temp multiplier tables down in half and see if that helps. Chances are your timing is raised on the tunes that rattle, so when it is cold it adds even more timing and makes it rattle. This is always a problem on DSP5 tunes, and is why I leave the #1 tune close to stock and tell people to run it when the engine is cold(below freezing).

Thanks I got it worked out I put the timing in the area of idle to 1600 back to stock.
I'm going play with temp multiplier tables.

Thanks.
