View Full Version : MPa Stays on 190 MPa for all RPMS on Tuning Tool

I just did a log for the forth time. When I have the Scan Tool program 7.5v open and the Tuning Tool program 7.5v open it shows in the Main Injection Pulse spreadsheet that the MPa is always in the column for 190 MPa no matter what RPM I'm at at that time. The mm3 will change depending on the logging. I can see that the MPa is changing in the logging but it doesn't change on the Main Injection Pulse spreadsheet.

Is the problem with my truck? or The EFILive Tuning Tool program.

I using :

Tuning Tool program V7.5.7 (Build 245)
Scan Tool program V7.5.7 (Build 245)

Thanks Bill.

I have run into this a few times.... Are you logging in mpa not psi?

I used Main Injection flow rate from PID selection Group: PCM-Enhanced

When you play back a log to overlay to your tune, you must make sure that your PID units match those of your log file. So if your logged pressure is on PSI and your tune file is MPA, it will always be maxxed out.

How would I change from PSI to MPa?
Also, how would I record the correct Boost Pressure?
Which PIDs should I be using?

Thank You for your reply.

I figured out which ones to use and how to change the units for the PIDs.

Now to figure out why I get better MPG at 76-77mph than I do at 72-73mph.

Thanks anyways.

How would I change from PSI to MPa?
...For anyone reading along:

in scantool, on PIDs tab, on the pid do rightclick->Metric.
