Is there any chance a column could be added to the 'Calibration' Tab that not only shows the Checksum, but the 'CVN' as it would be displayed in a Tech2 and in the V2 when viewing the CVN? Since the CVN is something that would be the same in all trucks assuming the data is the same, it's got to be something that can be calculated outside the ECM,a nd would be very helpful to figure out what tune is in the ECM for those cases where you can't read it (such as LBZ DSP5).

Not in V7.5, but such a thing already exists in V8 when you are hooked up to the ECM.
From the Main screen in V8, F4:OBD then F2:Controller and click the Get Info button, if the ECM reports the CVN via OBD it will be displayed there.

Right... but how is that different than what you get on the V2 when you go 'Diagnostics' > 'Display Info' > 'Display CVN'? The problem is the CVN that is displayed is eight hex characters. The checksum in the tune files is 12 hex characters. And they in no way line up with each other. So you can't look at the CVNs in the ECM, then open a tune file and be able to KNOW thatit's the correct tune file, or be able to tell what segment(s) are different. Also, the 'OBD' function does not appear to be active yet...
