Since my LC-1 has crapped out on me during the VE tune, I created a tune that is in SD closed loop and added the stock VE table + 1%.

After flashing the tune and going for a drive, I monitored the LONGFT1 min, avg, and max values. The max was quite lean, so I have repeated this process of bumping the VE table by 1% then monitoring LONGFT1 until the current tune where I am at 7% added to the VE table. At first LONGFT1 showed a max around 2.0 and the average was -0.1 and min was -4.0, then after about 8 miles of driving, i noticed that the min and max values started looking just like the values for the 6% VE table tune. What's going on, is the PCM adjusting the Table regardless of its initial values? Do I need to bump up the VE table values more to something like 10% ? Should I be looking at LONGFTAVG1 instead (although it seems to stay at 0% the entire time for min, avg and max values)

you want to use average data. Although you can tune with the trims, it's much more accurate and faster to tune with a WB. I know you've had trouble with your lc-1, perhaps a different model WB would get you going.
