Hello, I downloaded the newest updates to V7.5 and 8 a week or 2 ago and ever since I have had a lot of issues logging, The biggest complaint is that MAF change at all. I have had other issues with other pids as well. I just checked today with our shop computer and it works just fine on that laptop, which has not been updated yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had issues of if there is a known problem with this on the newest update?

Otherwise does anyone have the older update file handy I can use until the problems are fixed?

Can you explain what is happening...?

You might have to re-assign the MAF pid to the chart.

It started out that as soon as you started to log the MAF would just go right to 233.xx G/Sec and never move. So I grabbed another laptop and started to log it worked perfectly, then I got the log too populated and it locked up and I had to force close the program. I got it opened back up again and tried to log and now It just register's the pids as negative numbers and does not actually record anything at all now. So I tried my normal laptop and, I get nothing same issue register's the value's as negative and does not actually record anything. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting numerous times with now luck. I have tried different cables and still no data just a few pids that read -40 and don't actually record anything.

This started happening when you update the software...?

Which V7/V8 software build versions are you running (that this problem happens with)...?
What V2 firmware version...?

Are using V7 scantool or V8 scantool to log...?

Post some screenshots and logs (if you're able to save them).

What year/model/vehicle/ECM does this happen on...?

Are there other vehicles you can try on...?

Try this: re-download the V7 and V8 .exe install files, and reinstall... and reflash/configure V2.

Yes, This has only happened since updating the software, but it could be the vehicle's problem. I have been working on this truck for about a week now.

I was using V7 Scantool to log it just like I always do. The V8 build version is 8.2.2 build 237 not sure on V7

There is no data in the logs when I try to log since the issue started happening.

The main vehicle in question is a 2010 Chevy Silverado with an E38

I tried on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe with an LS1B and the same issue happens.

I did Try to delete V7 and 8 and then redownloaded this morning have the same issues after doing so.

The weird part is I can read and flash tunes no problem, just can't log.

Try V7/V8 from here: Update-Nov-21-2013 (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?23483-Update-Nov-21-2013)

Then, when you start V8 S&T, it will show you a V2 firmware update dialog, followed by a BBx update dialog... let it do both.
