View Full Version : Weird problem with AFR (LM-1)

Just configured the LM-1 to interface with EFILive. When I first start the car the AFR is close to what is showing on the LM-1 display and the PID display tab, however after about a minute or so, the AFR gradually starts to creep up. I'm monitoring the LM-1 voltage at the same time and it hangs right around 2.5 volts which is where it should be.
SAE_GENERIC.TXT LM-1 config...
({EXT.AD1}*1.993) + 9.983
0V - 10AFR 5V-20AFR
Anyone have any ideas what might cause this?

Well, I solved my own problem. Switched from the LM-1 pid to PLX pid and it's working the way it's suppose to. Very odd considering they use the same calculation. :nixweiss:

I set my lm1 up for the plx pid with matching voltage...works well there with a 1/6 feedback rate.

What config did you use to setup your LM'1? The LM-1 is adjustable in scaling the AFR. So if the PLX setting worked then your configuration of the LM-1 more closely matched the PLX voltage to AFR scale.

0 = 10 AFR
5 = 20 AFR

Same here....used logworks to set the v. 0v = 10afr 5v = 20 afr. Matches the PLX pid yet gives more resolution for the LM1.

I changed the LM-1 PID because of this thread.

and this one...

I thought by changing the LM-1 PID formula to what the PLX formula was it would work.
Anyway, it's all good now! :)
