Any more info to share on beta testing 6.7 csp?

Nothing more can/will be done until the next stable release is publicly available.

The testers (and our developers) need a solid base to build from, which requires all the enhancements made between November 2013 and today to be fully released. Release should be within the next week to 2 weeks.

Cheers

Is it too soon after the latest release to start hoping for progress with CSP? : )

It essentially got shelved until this latest release came out, it's going to require 100% of my time for probably a month or so to implement correctly, I couldn't spare that leading up to this release.

Gmpx I'm sure you guys have been busy just wondering if there is any updates for the 6.7 csp5. I have seen where there was a few updates after the last release to make everything perfect just wondering if you had got to chip away at it since ur last post on here thanks I can't wait for it to happen

The latest release (Jul 7) is still being supported by the development team. 6.7L development moves to the top of the list when support release dwindles.

We will post progress as it becomes available. I wouldn't expect to see anything posted publicly before the end of August.

Cheers

I heard a little rumor that one of the csp os for the 6.7 is close or has went out to a few testers any truth to that Cindy?

Thanks in advance.

That is true. The CSP code for 6.7L testing was finalised a week or so ago, but it's yet to be tested on a truck. We are in the process of finalising an internal beta to generate a stable beta release given the other changes made since the last public release.

Hope to have good news before the week is over.

It is going ok, we ran in to an issue with one set of tables that hopefully we will get sorted this week, but for the first test ever, things were good.

Testing has been held up. Based on initial feedback the design has had a full re-write. Next phase of testing was waiting for yesterday's release, so we will start moving forward again later this week.

I did download V7.5.7.266 and V8.2.2.260, but when I followed the directions to update a tune, I did not have the option under the upgrade tab to "allow" the CSP option. :(

Documentation has been included as a reference for all users, however the functionality remains restricted to beta testers.

FWIW, with the EDA logging ability it has shown up some strange operational things with the trucks, we are working through those at the moment.

What strange things are you guys seeing? With my 07 5.9 truck I have noticed fuel pressure differences with a CSP5 tune verse a standard tune.

Well the 5.9L and 6.7L are too different in operation to draw a direct comparison, but I've not heard of FP differences between a CSP5 and factory OS.
With the 6.7L we found that it was on some trucks ignoring the altitude selected tables and defaulting to one table only, it was not a CSP5 related issue but when it was doing this the CSP5 tables were being bypassed. A new test has just begun on the solution, so many little things to sort out before release which is why it takes time. Like I said the EDA logging is so thorough it shows up these type of issues that we have not seen in the past.
