Help, pass through active!

I was loading a tune in and it literally just got right the the pop up window where i was about to turn the key off and wait for the count down. My laptop died on me!! The truck starts and runs fine. But I can't log, view codes etc. it just says pass through active. How can I remedy this? I'm guessing (haven't tried) maybe it won't even let me hook up the laptop anymore

"Pass-thru active" is just a mode in the FlashScan V2 device that gets set while reading or flashing a controller to prevent any accidental key presses on FlashScan's keypad from interfering with the read/flash process. Normally at the end of a read/flash the PC will send a signal to FlashScan to tell it that pass-thru is complete. When you laptop died it had not sent the "pass-thru is complete" signal.

You can reset FlashScan by unplugging it and replugging it (i.e. cold boot), or by pressing Ctrl+Backspace (i.e. warm boot)

Thanks, I connected it to the scan tool with the laptop after a recharge. Then disconnected it. Works fine now, big scare though but I'm good!
