Does this table have any effect on the final timing that is commanded with a LS1B PCM? When logging I have all of a sudden started seeing more timing in the log then is being commanded in the spark table at WOT (as much as 8-10 degrees more). I don't see any tables that would add this much timing and the only table I can find with timing numbers that big is the Optimal Timing Table B5919. Everything I see like the ECT and IAT tables usually subtract timing. Never seen this before until recently.

I am seeing this also. Would like some input.

The Optimal Timing table may be related to the timing that produces the best vacuum... but the actual timing is backed away from this to allow sufficient room to idle speed control via timing.

There's a recent thread by Gelf VXR regarding this (using an E40), I'll see if I can find it.

The ECT and IAT don't always subtract. In low temp they add as well, unless you have changed that already.

i havent messed with any of my spark tables. i logged a couple runs and noticed that the timing that was logged only matched the optimal timing table. so do all tables have to be gone through and adjusted?

No... some condition is causing this, and it has to be found out what/why...

post tune/log files.

Will post later today. I hope it isn't simply me not reading the table right.
