egr not disabling on 06 lbz

hey guys just curious I just tuned a 06 lbz and disabled egr where it says to disable, does that still work or not, when I drove it I had a dead
spot and smoked bad, scanner shoes egr still working I unplugged it and ran great. just curious if new efi update deleted that or is something
else wrong. thanks

Install a blocker plate, in my experience the 2006 LBZ does not like the egr set to disable and or disabling the functionality without a blocker plate.

The 2007 does not seem to mind and I do not know what is different, but I know that the 2006 will exhibit that type of problem.
