A shop up here in Canada is claiming he has been tuning the 2010-current 6.7's with efilive for quite a while now. Not only just the ECM but the TCM also. lol.......and go!

Yep, I feel bad for the people that are actually buying into this B.S and haven't done their research. Shop has a back room full of used XRT pro's. Lol

That is funny, back in the early days of LS1 tuning the software 'LS1 Edit' was the first to market so it was the first thing everyone became familiar with. It became a common term amongst the LS1 community to call a tune an 'edit'. I hear people even to this day 14 years on saying an LS1 powered car has been 'edited'.

I personally was wondering if they did a ecm swap. Hoping someone had done a cm 2100 swap. Only reason I was interested was if the 2100 was possible a 849 should not be out of the question. More rpm would be nice.

Wouldn't that be a down grade in performance. Isn't the 2013 tune specific to that ECM?

Depends on your idea of performance right now the cm 2200 and 2350 both have limits that the 5.9 ecm doesn't. Eventually this would be obsolete whenever full access to the ecm is available but some 4th gen guys don't have much patience. 5000 rpm is available in the cm849 not with the 2200-2350 yet. Also some other nice features of the cm849. Not saying you can't make power with the cm2200 just would be nice to swap it similar to the way you can a 2100 to 849 (harness is very similar on those though)

Not offended in anyway...but if you really want to know, and you now know it's not our stuff then perhaps you should ask elsewhere.....

Cheers
