Recently I had to purchase a new computer and I am trying to install the EFIlive software to use with my autocal. I have tired to download both the V7.5 and the V8 version and once i get them downloaded I go to open the .exe file and they freeze and will not install. Can anyone provide me some guidance and help as to why and what I might need to do to get this to work. Thanks

If you're trying to execute/install the .exe files PC freeze, then you have a problem with your PC.

( also, are you logged in as Administrator...? )

The pc it self was not freezing. Just the .exe file would not respond. I was able to get the software loaded to my pc by using a flash drive and installing the .exercise file I the flash drive then installing the program by launching the .exercise file from the flash drive and installing the program on my computer. I'll have to run some scans on my computer to see if any issues are identified.

So you got the EFILive V7 and V8 software installed...?

When you download you have to make sure that the downloads have completed (i.e. no .part files with the same name as the downloaded .exe file).

Yea u finally got it installed. After trying many different things downloading it to the flash drive and installing from there. Works great and no issues as of now.

You won't need to worry about V7.5 software for your AutoCal. Only V8 software is needed, unless you also have a FlashScan device.
