Hey all, I have been looking all over and have not been able to find the answer to my question. I have an Edelbrock supercharged, comp camed and LSA ported head L92 from a 2007 Escalade installed in a 69 Blazer. The Escalade BCM, IPC and A6 are installed as well. The ABS is a 8600+ unit from a 07 Suburban. The system works well but the A/C driver in the E38 has failed. I am close to the 512 maf limit here at 4200 ft and I had a hard time dialing in the ETC for the supercharger to keep it from stalling on free rev. The ETC problem is not isolated to this conversion, I have a friend with a 07 Edelbrock supercharged Escalade that had the same problem, the later model years seem to fix this ETC problem. The ETC problem on this Blazer got worse when I added a larger plenum and third intercooler to help combat high IAT's. The question I have is do I upgrade the ECM and OS to a 08+? And if so do I go to a 10 to get the higher injector flow rates? Has anyone done this and had the newer OS work with the old TCM, BCM, IPC and ABS? I looked at the raw data coming from a 2010 Silverado on high speed and low speed, the low speed is different slightly, like the AC command from the climate control uses a 01 and 02 instead of a 05 and 06. The high speed at first glance looks similar, but I have not spent the time to go through it all. I need to install a new E38 to fix the A/C driver failure and it would sure be nice to have the higher Maf and injector limits and throttle controls on the newer OS. Any input would be great, I don't want to buy a newer unit, TIS flash, then tune only to find it won't work with the old A6 TCM. Thanks
