What is 3 digit part number (on RHS head at front) as whackem said)...?

What is engine block part number (on LHS rear of block, just below head)...?

Some engine blocks have a large "6L" or "5.3L" cast in relief on the side of the block.

Post pics of engine.

All of the truck based engines "That I have seen" have the size cast into the drivers side front of the block, next to the timing cover. The 4.8/5.3 use the same block but have different strokes and will have 4.8/5.3 cast into them. The 6.0 will have a 6.0 cast into it as well.
