Wasn't sure to post here on in BBL section.

I'm using V7.5 and Flashscan V2.

In the Scan program, if I click on the flashscan tab at the top, the only active link is the "Start EFILive Tuning Tool. I'm unable to open the flashscan control panel.

I really have no idea how to truly navigate this software. I read the tutorials and my eyes glass over.

I only use this for personal use on my own car. All I really want to be able to do is log, and flash the PCM with different tunes with out my laptop in my car. I'm sure this can't be too difficult to accomplish - especially for someone that speaks PC. I've spent the last 4 hours reading here and the PDF docs that come with the product and I'm no closer to success than when I had my first cup of coffee.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

You need to use the v8 software to setup the V2 BlackBox functions.

The process to configure FlashScan V2 for standalone features has been summarized into one easy post. Don't be too concerned about the date of the thread, Joe continues to update the first post as the processes have changed.

I will ask Joe to take a look at that thread given there were 2 releases made since the last update, but nothing jumps out at me regarding process changes.

Cheers

Hi Pete,

I've been out all day and just got back shortly ago...

First, what is the firmware version currently in your V2...?

If it is earlier than 2.7.xx then immediately reply back.

Then, have a read of post #1 here: Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20699-Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch)
