Question About Tuning on a 98 LS1

First let me apologize if this is to much of a noob question but I just purchased a V2 and I have updated it to Boot Block 2.07.06 and Firmware 2.07.52 and it has one license left but if I understand correctly since my car is a 1998 I wont have to use the license to tune it. First question is am I correct and second is how to I make sure to not use the available license by mistake. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I thank you in advance.

From the tunetool, go something like Help->V2 Stream Licenses (or something similar, I don't quite remember) look at the installed streams... the LS1A stream should be already installed... if it is not, contact customer support, they will send you a code for it.

When flashing an LS1A PCM, it should not ask you for a license if the LS1A stream is installed... if it does ask for a license, then stop and do not proceed.
