v2 won't connect to laptop or pc

My v2 won't connect to my computers I have tried reloading drivers on both computers.
When I plug it in my computer says unrecognized usb device. The lights all flash once then
I get one blue light flash then 2 amber. The screen back light comes on but doesn't say anything.

Did you install the V7 software from here: Nov-21-2013-software (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?23483-Update-Nov-21-2013)...?

I have used the V2 several times before with out issue. I did how ever reinstall the software from the above link to see if that made a difference with no change.
I believe the usb connector may be loose as it has alot of side to side play in it. Any other suggestions to try anything else or do I have to send it in the get repaired?

Loose USB connector will have to be looked at and repaired...

where are you located...?
