Can I take a regular 98 tune and update the parameters to work with a Cobalt 2 bar map sensor? I just want to log boost and already have a Cobalt sensor laying around. If so, what parameters need to be changed?

Anyone? Just looking to be able to log boost. Don't care about boost ve tables or anything like that. I've already got fuel pressure running through the EGR so that's not an option. Just wondering if you can swap map sensors, rescale, and see boost in the logs.

You could use the I/O port on the V2 and create a custom pid, or possibly use the AC pressure sensor if the 98 pcm has one.

As for swaping sensors, I don't think that will work.

0411 swap :)

I guess I'm just wondering why it wouldn't if you got the MAP scaler and offset correct.

You will have to scale/shift other tables, like VE, IFR and spark tables (that have a MAP axis, or a MAP-derived axis).

Bla....ok, guess I won't be putting it in.
