View Full Version : GMPP 480 with E67 Controller. (HUGE GAP in REVLIMITER, stuck 02 signals)

I have only had the joy of dealing with a few of these "stripped down" ECU's, in a couple hot rods. However this is the first one, that actually gets "beat" on badly.
The set up is in whats called a Rock Hopper, and basically lives on or right at the Revlimiter.

The issue is that, however they have these ECU tuned, once the Revlimiter is hit (Seems to be 6,800) it takes 1,300rpm to recover! So it sounds like a rental car, in abuse mode.
Big up and down swing of the RPM. I noticed that GMPP has all the (Fuel,Spark,Throttle) set to "NO" and the tables for the revlimit state 6,600 or 6,700 (which it obviously goes past)

So did they "move" these functions somewhere else? Basically I am not looking to raise the revlimit, but just give it a 50-100rpm recovery window.

Also, why are both banks of the o2's stuck around 450? (New motor, Sensors, Harness, ECU, Everything is from GMPP)
OS: 12638778
CAL: 12636660
VIN19258269LS376GMPP

My fear is that I redo the entire tune, and load an OS from something else, it will have wiring pinout issues, and start a whole mess I don't want to get into.

Anyone else thoughts? Thanks!
