My truck is all stock. At hot idle main fuel flow is 28mm3. This seems high to me? Thoughts?

28mm3 is simply a reference to a pulse duration at a particular rail pressure. For something like this you want to look at the main injection duration in Us.

Ok, right now I'm toying with turbo vanes at idle. The cells I see other guys adjust for idle rumble, my truck doesn't idle in those cells. 28mm3 is getting down there on the rows?

28mm3 does seem high if were talking about a stock tune. Typically I adjust from 0-15mm3 in my tunes to open up the vanes. I would take a look at your pulsewidth first and see how that number looks.

Humm, my truck is not listening to me lol. I have zero'd out target vane position tables. Still idles at 94.9%.

Make sure you take into account the condition of the EGR as well as what Altitude table you are running.
