SO I need to tune a 07 5.9 automatic for a customer remotely with an autocal. is there a way to select the right OS for his vehicle with the VIN number or how should I go about this? just set the auto cal up to tune his rig and have him download the tune and email it to me? and then send him his tunes back and show him how to set them up? I'm thinking that's the right way to do it in this case. he won't be home till sept from japan and this is the last thing I have to get shipped to home. thanks for the help.

If you feel he is capable of reading and emailing you the tune, then thats what Id do, UNLESS the truck has been previously tunes then just send his a AC with a clean stock file and your tune files, and tell him to load the stock tune first, then the tuned files.

So on Tune file depot I see there is fed and cali emision tunes, what is going to be the difference with those? and is it like the 6.7 that it doewsnt matter what OS it is as long as it is auto and 5.9? thanks les.

Is there a difference between versions 11450202 and 11352602? I have to my 06 because of the Smarty issue with reading the stock file.

Unfortunately the OS number isn't the most critical thing, the same OS can be used on all varieties of truck configurations.
This is a good link - http://kb.dcctools.com/index.php?View=afile&EntryID=366&AttachID=167
That pdf has all the different calibrations listed, eg if you search for 35325531AS you will find in the list a range of compatible calibration numbers, but, you need to know what is in your ECM.

Thanks, I was given the 07 version (11450202) and wanted to make sure it was okay and if there was any advantage to using it.

I used the link from GMPX and found my ECM number 35325553AS, so I can use 35325553AW from tunedepot for a clean tune. My question is can I use a high idle 07 tune with calibration number 45325733AH, my thought was both my tune and the high idle tune both have 05179027AA and 05191828AA calibrations as previous tunes?? Sorry if this is a repost, I tried to post it already and it didn't work.

I'm trying to clean up a tune for my truck that used to have a smarty.

Thanks,
Jake

For what its worth, I flashed the high idle 45325733AH and it worked with no issues. Still curious as to why tho?
