That ECM (12642100) is a 2011 E78. I don't work with those ECMs at all. There are a few people on the Forum who do, but support for that ECM is somewhat limited currently.

Given that this is a custom vehicle (1970 Chev Truck - a favorite of mine !), it may be easier to use an E38 or an E67 ECM.

Just some thoughts ...

It just occurred to me from reading your posts, that you may be operating under the belief that the L92 and 6L90 are controlled jointly - they are not. The 6L90 has its own TCM (a T43), which is located inside the transmission itself (you can see it if you remove the transmission oil pan). The engine (your L92, or any Gen IV engine) has its own ECM - which could be an E38, E67, or E78.

ECM 12625455 is a 2009 E38. It is not an ideal choice for this project.

The 2011 6L90 is probably running OS24256125 - which was common to trucks, Camaro, Corvette, and CTS-V in 2011. If you choose to move away from your existing 2011 E78 ECM (which in the long run would make tuning easier), I would recommend using a 2010+ ECM.

2010+ E38 uses service number 12633238.
2010+ E67 uses service number 12633264.

Using an E38 would provide you with the option of using a Corvette APP (gas pedal) and TB (throttle body), as many people view the Corvette APP as easier to mount / adapt.

Using an E67 would allow Cruise Control to become an option.

Either way, you will probably require the services of a professional tuner, or a very accommodating GM dealer, to load the correct base calibration into the ECM.

Just some options to consider ...
