Since VE is so dependent on Temp, why isn't an IAT correction included in the BEN factor in AutoVE tuning? It would seem to make run-to-run tuning more consistent.

There aren't any stupid questions ...... are there?

I understand that it might be included in future custom OS's.
You could make some kind of kinky calculated pid to include it in your ben. But its easier to tackle one thing at a time rather than calculate too much at once. But hey go for it, you might find it works well.

I think the VE table already takes temp into account, it's units are g.K/kPa.

I think he's refering to a correction factor. As it stands now, your AFR will vary with IAT while in SD. As temps go up, the AFR will lean out which makes tuning more difficult. If I understand correctly, he's asking if there will be a feature/equation that will allow us to tune no matter what the IAT's are and get good results.

Not to be contrary, well maybe- The MAF is a pretty nifty equalizer.
