Im currently running Speed Density and have the p0102 code - I was wondering how to make this DTC code go away. Any thoughts?

Don't make it go away.
Without a MAF failure set, you won't be in SD.

Put a MAF on it.
No DTC = Not in SD.

+1 require a MAF DTC for SD.

The SRT should come ready anyway (one or two are allowed to be not ready, depending on model year, 2001 or later, or 2000 or earlier), but the scan test will fail because a DTC is present (none are allowed).

Joe if I put a MAF back in then the DTC will go away - so will I need to do anything to the SD tune to run the MAF. I followed all the efilive instructions to go to Speed Density.

DTC should go away, but it will probably upset the tune. You'll need to tune the MAF curve too.

Since you have a working SD tune, follow the Calc.MAFt method (skipping the VE adjustment bit if you're happy with it already), which basically amounts to putting the MAF in, and continuing to run your SD tune while logging the MAF too.
You can quickly populate a MAF table of MAF Hz vs Airflow.

If you didn't zero out the MAF tables (data is still there just not used), which you probably didn't, you can just reverse the MAF fail parameters and get a good SRT, reverse after test is passed.
Shouldn't notice to much difference between MAF and SD tun.

Yes it worked! The MAF tables were still there, I had to bring the MAF frequency diagnostics back to stock. My tune was kind of upset but did not throw any codes. Cheers

Untick ses enable, change p102 too 2 no mill lightThat's with HPT...

In EFILive the DTC enable is table C6001 and the MIL enable is table C6002.

Download and install the EFILive V7 software and take a look (stock tune files can be found at www.tunefiledepot.com).
