tuning for 4l65e with dakota digital 8k

Need help tuning for the dakota digital 8k pulse vss. The speed is adjusted to be close to the gps but does not shift when it needs to. It is holding gear to long? Any ideas?

Ok here's what I did to fix it. I started by manually entering 8000 for the pulses per mile and my vss was accurate but not shifting when it was supposed to. I then tried going back to stock calibrations and used the calculator and just started changing tire sizes and gear ratios until the pulses was close to 8000 and that was the ticket. Everything working great now.
