GM.FTC - Is VSS needed for this? AutoVE filter FTC 21

I was reviewing the Autove tuning and some use a filter for FTC 21. Is the VSS signal needed for the computer to "see" decel and flag it as FTC 21?


I do not have a VSS signal available at the moment.
I believe my ecu/datalog is not flagging it and causing the decel values to be averaged into the BEN factor.

What do you guys think?

You should be able to use TP to detect decel.
