Hi guys!. Im trying to work out this tune on my truck, but it seems no matter what i do, I cant get fuel up top from 3500 to 6400. Running 15's on the wb. Would you guys mind looking it all over and let me know where im going wrong?
build is as follows
6.0l, 10.8:1 243 heads, tsp 228r cam on 112 lsa, truck intake and tb(78mm), flex fuel injectors(so i was told) long tubes and no cats, 3000 stall 4l60.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The injectors are 12587269, so they are suppose to be 38lbs/hr. Just checked them.

Is your FPR manifold referenced...?

What did you measure rail pressure (with reference hose disconnected)...?

58ish at the rail. Yes it's manifold referenced.

Need to measure it +/- 1 psi.

Your tune is MAF enabled. If your top end is lean then your MAF curve is wrong.

I am maxing the maf out by 5000rpms!?

Is that a statement or a question?

Statement. On my scanner, at wot, it maxed out at approx 5k

Can you post a log?.... I'd like to see that.

here is one from this morning. goes super lean after about 4500.

fuel pressure drops to 42 psi at wot. bought a new guage this morning. koeo it is 50, idle it is 48. that should still leave me with plenty of injector though(32lbs)??? new fpr this morning and new fp last week.

my friend says my injectors are not scaled correctly?

Injector flow rate in your tune is not correct for 38lb injectors. Is set for more like 28lb injectors.
Scan says your MAF is maxed out, but that's not possible on your setup.

You need to get your fuel pressure right, otherwise it's all just a complete waste of time trying to calibrate anything. When fuel pressure drops, injector flow drops. At 42psi, you have only a little over 1/2 the expected flow rate at 58psi.

Get the fuel pressure sorted first, then we can help you out with calibrating VE and MAF.

57psiI take it you measure it with the reference hose disconnected...?

+1 injectors are scaled incorrectly...

The pump is garbage. Have a new one on the way. At wot it dropped to 35psi.. Lol.. did a power brake in the parking lot at work with one of my buddies standing beside it watching..

Thanks for the pointers so far. I will return after I put the new pump in!

MAF is maxing out...!?

What injectors do you have...?

With this build you should not be maxing out the MAF:

6.0l, 10.8:1 243 heads, tsp 228r cam on 112 lsa, truck intake and tb(78mm), flex fuel injectors(so i was told) long tubes and no cats, 3000 stall 4l60.

It seems your IFR and MAF tables are incorrect (and VE table also).

IFR will have to be made correct for the injectors you're running (with replacement fuel pump, measure rail pressure).

new fuel pump in, pressure is 58psi without vac, 52 psi at idle with vacuum. nothing seems to be different now except that the injectors are only maxxing out at 122% duty cycle instead of 165% ,and still lean as heck from 4200 up. i am using the flex fuel injector #12587269. research tells me it flows 34lb@43psi, and 40lb@58psi. How should my injector scale look?
