I need help. I updated my firmware, bootloader, etc. on the V2 last night and all of the EFILive software. After the updates, it will flash the ECM, but not the TCM. It says it cannot verify the license. I have flashed this vehicle hundreds of times prior to this. Any help is appreciated.

What are you using to flash (V7, V8, V2/BBx)...?

Send a license backup file (*.lbu) from your FlashScan device and a trace file (*.htx) of the failed flash attempt to support@efilive.com

Instructions on how to get those files here:

HEY....that is exactly what happened to me this Saturday when I tried to program my 2011 Corvette. The ECM went no problem but the TCM asked for a license number??? This was not the first time using the V2 but my tuner made an adjustment from my drag log files that day and told me to put the new program in. I had an unused Trans license so I had to agree to use a new one and lost one of my trans licenses because of it. What can I do??

I just sent the .lbu to EFILive. We'll see what happens.

Do what I explained in post #3.
If your license backup file shows the controller is already licensed, then we'll issue a replacement VIN license free of charge.

The files that you sent to EFILive support clearly show that your controller is already licensed. The old firmware stored the license incorrectly in the FlashScan memory. The new firmware should (but does not) recognize the old/incorrect license. We'll issue a replacement VIN license. Please send your FlashScan serial number and auth code to me at paul@efilive.com

See this page for details on how to obtain the serial and auth code:

Paul, I have had the same issue multiple times with the latest firmware with BBX. FYI, when I hook up through a laptop, there is no problem.
