Installing Custom OS

I just created a custom operating system base tune by modifying my own cars tune (that uses OS3).

Can this now be just flashed into a car and work OK or do i need to do it the tutorial way?

You can full flash it straight in to another car as the file contains both the Operating System and Calibration data.

The multi part initial Custom OS install is really to force the necessity to validate the data areas where the new tables reside to ensure they have sensible values.
