Does anyone know if you can load a 2014 OS into a 2011 ECM. Reason is, I Purchased a 2011 ECM for my 2014 LML for tuning purposes. Can I make that work?

Thank you.

Yes you'll be just fine. Can I ask how much you paid for it and where you found it?

If you can't use segment swap to make a complete base file, contact a company that will make you one (for a fee). EFI Live does not offer this as a service. Power performance and Ridge Runner both come to mind.

Cheers

I did my segment swap while reading instructions on the site. I should have copied site here to help out other members. I will try my best to post the steps that i remember. Please chime-in if i missed anything.
1. open tune that you are using.
2. click on the folder with red arrows up top to open alt calibration (choose tune that has the segment you want)
3. now go to edit tab
4. click on "copy entire segment" (choose segment you want to copy) for example engine operation, engine diagnostic ect....
5. confirm.. "copy entire segment from alternate calibration to current" "yes or no"
