Scan Tool 7.5 not interfacing

I just did the latest updates and I have

EFILive V7 software: V7.5.7 Build 269
EFILive V8 software: V8.2.2 Build 263
Boot Block: V2.07.07 (Feb 07, 2014)
Firmware: V2.07.71 (Oct 28, 2014)


I have a 2014 Corvette so I believe I have the E92 ECM. When I open the tuning tool, it says I can't do anything with the ECM.

I snuck in to folder V8 and ran the scan/tune.exe file and that allowed me to see the E92 and down load the ECM calibrations.

Have I done something wrong and messed up my Tune tool 7.5?

I went into V8, opened the scan/tune, selected the saved ctz file, double clicked and it offered me the option to edit the tune with 7.5. I went in and see the familiar format with the E92 file.

Is there an easier way to download the E92 and edit the file than what I did? I'm sure I brailled my way and there is an easier way to do this. :D

We are a week or so off another release that will have better E92 support.
Essentially though for the E92 you read and flash the ECM through V8, but the editing is still done in V7.5
